Monitoring of
encoders with
EnDat interface
In the event of a disturbance, the error message EnDat defective <error
code> <axis> will appear.
The error code is shown in hexadecimal notation. Error codes may also appear
combined, in which case they are added together.
There are two possible types of errors:
The encoder reports an error.
Access to the encoder via the EnDat interface is faulty.
Codes for errors reported by the encoder:

0x00000004 Incorrect position value
0x00000008 Overvoltage
0x00000010 Undervoltage
0x00000020 Overcurrent
0x00000040 Replace the battery
