34.1 Recorder
The plug-in thermal recorder records patient information, numeric for all active measurements, up to three
waveforms, and so on. You can use it for local recording mounted in the monitor’s SMR.
34.2 Starting Recordings
Recordings can be started manually or automatically.
34.2.1 Starting Recordings Manually
To manually start a recording, you can either:
â– Press the hardkey on the front of the recorder module, or
â– Select in the upper left corner of the current menu or window.
34.2.2 Starting Recordings Automatically
Automatic recordings will be triggered in the following conditions:
â– Timed recordings will start automatically at preset intervals.
â– When Print on Alarm is set to Recorder and Print on Alarm for a measurement are set to on, if On/Off
for an alarm is set to on, an alarm recording will be triggered automatically as alarms occur. Follow this
procedure to set
Print on Alarm to Recorder :
1. Select the
Main Menu quick key → turn to the third page → from the System column select
Maintenance → input the required password → select Ok.
2. Select the
Alarm tab → select Other.
3. Set
Print on Alarm to Recorder.
(1) Start/Stop key: press to start a recording or stop the current recording.
(2) Module status indicator
â—† On: when the recorder works correctly.
â—† Off: when the monitor is switched off.
â—† Flashes: if an error occurred to the recorder.
(3) Paper outlet
(4) Recorder door
(5) Latch: pull it backward to open the recorder door.
