1) Put in water for the first two minutes.
2) Dry-motor the engine for one minute.
3) Put in water for the last two minutes.
(c) Let the engine soak for ten minutes.
(d) Dry-motor the engine for up to 5 minutes while you do the steps that follow
(PAGEBLOCK 71-00-00/201):
1) Put in water for 2 minutes.
2) Dry-Motor the engine (without water) for one minute.
3) If the anti-ice forward sensor hose has been disconnected, do this step:
a) Dry motor the engine for up to an additional 2 minutes until no more water
drains out of the disconnected inlet anti-ice forward sensor hose.

CAUTION
DO THE STEPS THAT PUT THE ENGINE BACK TO ITS USUAL CONDITION
IMMEDIATELY AFTER YOU COMPLETE THE PROCEDURE. IF YOU DO NOT,
DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE CAN OCCUR.
(7) Immediately do the steps that follow to put the engine back to its usual condition.

(1) Open the fan cowl panels (PAGEBLOCK 71-11-04/201).

THE OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER. THE ACCIDENTAL

PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do the deactivation procedure for the thrust reverser for ground maintenance
(PAGEBLOCK 78-31-00/201).

(4) Open the thrust reversers (PAGEBLOCK 78-31-00/201).

(5) Let the engine drain for five minutes.

NOTE: If you do not have the condition monitoring kit installed on the engine you will only
have to connect the CDP (PS3) pressure sensing hoses.
(a) Remove the plug from the Compressor Discharge (CDP) tube.
