The total damage area must be less than 80 square inches (516 square cm).
Each damage area must be less than 35 square inches (226 square cm).
Each damage area must have a separation equal to the maximum dimension of
the adjacent damage area.
The maximum clearance for the blade tip must not be more than 0.210 inch (5.33
mm).
Repair with the Approved Repairs (PAGEBLOCK 72-33-04/801).

Damage to the fiberglass cover on
the Kevlar containment ring
Not permitted. Replace the forward fan case.
Damage to the Kevlar containment
ring
Not permitted.
Loose self-locking nuts on the
forward flange
Permitted, if the run-on torque is more than 10.0 pound-inches (1.1 newton
meters). Bend the tang to its initial position to remove the nut (if it is necessary).
