(1) Make sure the task "Preparation for VSV Repairs" has been done.

(2) Use a marker, G02061 to put identification numbers on the clevises [7].

CAUTION
DO NOT REMOVE THE JAMNUT LOCKWIRE, LOOSEN THE JAMNUT OR
TURN THE ROD-END BEARING. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THIS INSTRUCTION,
ENGINE DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.
(3) If the right side lever is removed, disconnect the feedback pushrod [12] but leave the lockwire
attached.
NOTE: The feedback pushrod is on the right side on engines without GE SB 75-004.
(a) Remove the bolt, spacer, washer, nut, and cotter pin that connect the rod end bearing
[13] to the bellcrank.

(5) Disconnect the rod end bearings [7B] from the connecting links [8].
