(1) Open the fan cowl panels (PAGEBLOCK 71-11-04/201).

WARNING
DO THE THRUST REVERSER DEACTIVATION PROCEDURE TO PREVENT
THE OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER. THE ACCIDENTAL
OPERATION OF THE THRUST REVERSER CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO
PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this procedure: Thrust Reverser Deactivation for Ground Maintenance
(PAGEBLOCK 78-31-00/201).

(3) Open the core cowl panels (PAGEBLOCK 71-11-06/201).
D. Examine the fan stator assembly

(1) If it is necessary to see the damage more clearly, do the spot fluorescent penetrant inspection
(PAGEBLOCK 70-11-06/201).
SUBTASK 72-33-01-906-013-G00
(2) If the damage is more than the maximum serviceable limits, replace the part
(PAGEBLOCK 72-33-01/601).
