(6) Examine the concave and convex surfaces of the blade for:

Permitted,if less than 0.030 inch (0.76 mm) in depth, with a minimunm
separation of 0.250 inch (6.35 mm).
Nicks and dents that have distortion on
the opposite side
Five on each blade are permitted, if the distortion is less than 0.020 inch
(0.52 mm) on the opposite side. There must be a minimum separation of
0.250 inch (6.35 mm).

(7) Examine the clearance control manifold for:

Cracks in the supply tube Permitted, if less than 2.0 inch (50.8 mm) in the area near the mount brackets.

(8) Examine the circumferential and axial feeder tubes for:
Cracks Permitted, if the cracks are separated by one (or more) support member.
On bird cage tube cracks, you can crimp together the two ends of the crack.
There must be no more than 12.0 inches (305.0 mm) of tube that is closed off
from the air source.
Bends Permitted, if the bends ore less than 0.250 inch (6.4 mm) from the initial contour
of the tube.
If it is possible, you can apply pressure to the tube with your hands to make the
tube in its initial shape.
Dents Permitted, if less than 0.25 inch (6.34 mm) in depth. There must be no more
than 12.0 inch (305.0 mm) of tube that is blocked.
Cracks in the brackets Permitted, two brackets on each manifold can be broken.
Cracks in the tube straps Permitted.
E. Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition

REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURIES TO
PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(1) Close the thrust reversers (PAGEBLOCK 78-31-00/201).
