Condition Maximum Serviceable Limits
Nicks and scratches Permitted if less than 0.060 inch (1.52 mm) in depth after the high
metal has been removed. The remaining metal must not be less than
75% of its initial thickness.
Dents Permitted if they are smooth and less than 0.250 inch (6.35 mm) in
depth. No dents are permitted on the mating surfaces.

(8) Visually examine the oil supply scavenge tubes for the conditions that follow:
Condition Maximum Serviceable Limits
Cracks Not serviceable.
Nicks and scratches Permitted if less than 0.10 inch (0.25 mm) in depth after the high metal has
been removed.
Dents Permitted if smooth and less than 0.60 inch (1.52 mm) in depth.
Wear at the ends Permitted if less than 0.12 inch.
Permitted if less than 0.015 inch (0.38 mm) in depth on the scavenge tubes.
Permitted if less than 0.016 inch (0.421 mm) in depth on the sump
pressurization tubes.
Permitted if less than 0.018 inch (0.45 m) in depth on the sump vent tube.
F. Put the Airplane to its Usual Condition

WARNING
OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PROCEDURE TO CLOSE THE THRUST
REVERSERS. IF YOU DO NOT OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS, INJURIES TO
PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR.
(1) Close the thrust reversers (PAGEBLOCK 78-31-00/201).

(2) Close the core cowl panels (PAGEBLOCK 71-11-06/201).

(3) Do the activation procedure for the thrust reverser (PAGEBLOCK 78-31-00/201).

(4) Close the fan cowl panel (PAGEBLOCK 71-11-04/201).
