(1) Lubricate the seal ring with petroleum jelly, D50223 [C02-008] or grease, D00504.

(2) Install the seal ring.
NOTE: The three colored dots on the taper of the seal ring are in the forward direction
(Figure 402).

(3) Install the three guide pins, SPL-6379 for the spinner into the forward flange of the first-stage
disk.

(4) Find the offset bolt hole in the first-stage disk. It is identified with the letters "OS".

(5) Find the offset hole in the spinner. It is identified with the letter "O" and the hole counterbore is
painted white.
