1. General
A. This procedure contains sixteen tasks:
(1) Preparation for VSV Repairs
(2) Variable stator vane (VSV) lever arms (IGV - 5th stages) removal
(3) VSV lever arms installation
(4) VSV outer flanged bushing removal
(5) VSV outer flanged bushing installation
(6) VSV actuation levers removal
(7) VSV actuation levers installation
(8) HPC Stage 1 Blade Repair
(9) Slot loaded bearing ball removal
(10) Slot loaded bearing ball installation
(11) Repair of the slot loaded bearing with RTV sealant
(12) Borescope Blending Tool - Repair of the Stage 1-14 HPC Rotor Blades
(13) Loosen the Shingled HPC Stage 1 Blades
(14) Connecting Link Removal
(15) Connecting Link Installation
(16) Put the Airplane to its Usual Condition After VSV Repair
