(b) Apply a thin layer of Esnalube 382 Lubricant, D50071 [C02-006] to the retainer screw
threads.
CAUTION
DO NOT USE A HAMMER OR MALLET TO PUT THE ACOUSTICAL LINER
SECTIONS IN THEIR POSITIONS. YOU CAN EASILY CAUSE DAMAGE
TO THE ACOUSTICAL LINER SECTIONS.
(c) Put the acoustical liner in position and engage the acoustical liner in the fan case.
1) Tighten the retainer screws to 55-70 pound-inches (6.2-7.9 Newton meters).
(d) Apply black silicone RTV Silicone Elastomer adhesive, A50311 [C01-006] to the areas
around the acoustical liner.
1) Make sure the adhesive is at the same height as the adjacent surfaces.

(6) Install the B1-0 borescope plug (Figure 803) as follows:
(a) Apply a light layer of antiseize compound on the threads and the pressure faces of the
plug.
(b) Install the borescope plug into the borescope port.
1) Tighten the plug to 40-60 pound-inches (4.5-6.8 Newton meters).
(c) Install lockwire.

(7) Remove the N2 rotor manual or pneumatic cranking system (PAGEBLOCK 72-00-00/201).

(8) Adjust the VSV system to the fully closed position (PAGEBLOCK 75-31-02/501).

(9) If no more work will be done at this time, do the task "Put the Airplane to its Usual Condition".
