FAN STATOR CASE - APPROVED/REPAIRS
1. General
A. This procedure gives instructions on how to remove and install the 1st-stage stator vanes, the
fairings, and the inner shroud.

CAUTION
MAKE SURE THAT OBJECTS DO NOT FALL THROUGH THE OPEN VALVES
INTO THE ENGINE. DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE CAN OCCUR.
CAUTION
YOU MUST PUT AN IDENTIFICATION MARK ON ALL THE REMOVED PARTS.
DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE CAN OCCUR IF THE PARTS ARE NOT PUT BACK
IN THE CORRECT LOCATION.
(1) Remove the fan rotor spinner (PAGEBLOCK 72-31-01/401).

(2) Remove the necessary fan rotor blades to get access to the area where you will do work
(PAGEBLOCK 72-31-02/401).
SUBTASK 72-33-01-038-004-G00
(3) Remove the screws that hold the fan stator fairing to the 1st-stage stator case.
