3. Stowage of the Inlet Cowl Nuts that are Not Used
(Figure 802)
A. General
(1) This procedure is used to attach the inlet cowl nuts (in the fan forward stator case) that are not
used. This will keep the nuts stowed.
B. Consumable Materials

A50311 [C01-006] Adhesive - RTV Silicone Elastomer MIL-A-46106 Type I

D. Procedure
SUBTASK 72-33-04-438-034-G00
(1) Install a bolt in the anchor nut.
(a) If it is necessary, use a washer so the bolt will not touch the locking insert of the nut.
(b) Tighten the bolt until the nut is tight against the aft face of the forward casing forward
flange.
SUBTASK 72-33-04-868-035-G00
(2) Apply RTV Silicone Elastomer adhesive, A50311 [C01-006] fully around the nut.
(a) Make sure you do not apply silicone adhesive to the tangs of the nut.
(b) Let the adhesive cure.
(c) Remove the bolt from the nut.
