OR ON YOUR SKIN. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM MEK. PUT ON A
RESPIRATOR, PROTECTIVE SPLASH GOGGLES, AND GLOVES WHEN YOU
USE MEK. KEEP MEK AWAY FROM SPARKS, FLAME, AND HEAT. MEK IS A
POISONOUS AND FLAMMABLE SOLVENT WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURIES TO
PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(3) Remove heavy deposits of oil from the fan blades with Scotch-Brite 7447 pad, G02348
[C10-010] and one of these solvents:
(a) solvent, B00148
(b) solvent, B00678 [C04-003]
(c) alcohol, B00679 [C04-035]

(4) Do this step as alternate procedure to remove heavy deposits of oil from the fan blades:
(a) Mix a solution of cleaner, B50222 [C04-028] and warm water.
(b) Remove the deposits of oil with a soft cloth and the warm water/cleaner solution.

(5) Remove the protective mats, STD-6378 from the inlet cowl.
