(4) Remove the pneumatic starter (PAGEBLOCK 80-11-01/401).
E. Remove the Drive Shaft
SUBTASK 72-63-01-034-005-G00
(1) Put the drive shaft removal tool, SPL-5650 through the gearshaft at the starter pad on the
accessory gearbox and into the drive shaft.
(a) Put pressure on the tool until the stop on the tool touches the end of the drive shaft.
(b) Turn the handle on the tool clockwise until the tool is locked in position.

(2) Pull slowly to remove the drive shaft from the aft side of the accessory gearbox.
(a) Make sure the splines of the drive shaft are aligned with the splines of the gearshaft at
the accessory gearbox.

(3) Remove the tool from the drive shaft.
