5 Setting up Generator
Interference
The M8020A/M8030A supports the following two types of interference:
• Common Mode Interference (CMI)
• Differential Mode Interference (DMI)
Common Mode Interference (CMI)
Common Mode Interference (asymmetrical mode) relates to ground (CMI).
It has the following characteristics:
• State: Enables / disables common mode interference (CMI).
• Amplitude: Specifies the amplitude of the common mode interference
(CMI).
• Frequency Source: Specifies the frequency source for common mode
interference (CMI). It can be high frequency source or low frequency
source.
