6 Setting up Analyzer
Performing equalization in the M8046A Error Detector
Follow the given steps to perform equalization in the M8046A Error
Detector module:
1Go to Menu Bar > Analyzer and then select Data Input.
2 Select the Equalization parameters from the Parameters window.
3Specify the Equalization from a range of 0 (off) to 120 (max)
pre-defined levels.
Manual optimization of the equalization level
The sampling point setup is showing histogram data of the received signal
for an M8046A error detector. This can be used to determine the required
equalization level.
1Go to Menu Bar > Analyzer and then select Sampling Point Setup.
