LIGHT
You can take photographs without a lens, even without a camera, but not without light.
Light is the essence of photography, so it follows that paying attention to light is vital for a
photographer. And light varies in so many ways: intensity, direction, color, and so on.
MORNING LIGHT
This is classic side lighting, with the direction of the
sunlight almost exactly perpendicular to the direction in
which the camera’s pointing. In fact, shadows occupy
more of the image than sunlit areas, but it just makes the
sunlit parts stand out even more.
