Landscape
In Landscape mode, the camera sets a
small aperture, aiming to maximize depth
of field (page 60). Small apertures mean
that shutter speeds can be on the slow
side, so a tripod is often advisable. The
camera also selects the focus point
automatically, though this can be
overridden. A Landscape Picture Control
is applied to give vibrant colors. The built-
in flash remains off, even in low light, and
you can’t activate it manually. However,
you can use a separate flashgun.
LANDSCAPE MODE
Landscape mode should ensure images with
vibrant colors and good depth of field.
