3.15 FUSING UNIT

CAUTION
Allow time for the unit to cool before doing the following procedure.
3.15.1 FUSING UNIT REMOVAL
1. Open the front door, duplex unit, and right door.
2. Set screw [A] ( x 1)
3. Fusing unit release lever [B]
4. Slide out the fusing unit [C]
NOTE: A larger knob [D] is provided to make turning the hot roller easier to free
jams. The drawing of the larger knob was not updated in the remaining
illustrations.
