8.5.3 Using Several
Correction Tables
The RTC6 PCIe Board memory can store 8 different
correction tables at the same time.
It can be useful to work with several different
correction tables even if only a single scan system (2D
or 3D) is used. Example: a pilot laser and a working
laser with different wavelengths are used.
Special applications sometimes also require different
correction tables in quick succession. This change can
be done, for example, by
select_cor_table( n, 0 )
or
select_cor_table_list( n, 0 )
(
n
= 1…
number_of_correction_tables
).
number_of_correction_tables serves to protect
other commands (for example, load_correction_file
and select_cor_table) from unwanted table
numbers.
There is no need to change existing user programs
except when user input is to be rejected in the future
(by means of explicit RTC6 error messages).
