Engage parking brake

Make sure that Master switch is set to OFF

Open inspection cap F9 Refer basic manual, ATA 06
WARNING
When installing a battery, take special care to ensure that no
sparks are created by tools, and that the terminals are not
shorted out by tools .
4.
Remove the protective tape
5.
Connect the negative cable if not installed
6.
Connect the positive cable to the battery Refer to Figure 12.3.
7.
Make sure that foreign objects and tools have
been removed
8.
Close inspection cap F9 Refer basic manual, ATA 06
