1. WINDSHIELD REPLACEMENT
Hereinafter they are addressed instruction to replace windshield assy.

1.
Engage aircraft parking brake.
2.
Sand along windshield strips to remove painting
so to locate rivets position.
3.
Remove rivets and mastic along the strips and
record their position.
Refer to Figure 2.
4.
Remove strips and be careful to avoid
deformations: in that case strip replacement is
required.
Refer to Figure 2.
5.
Remove windshield.
6.
Remove mastic all along the edges of windshield
frame by using cutter or suitable means.
Each trace of mastic must be
removed for windshield
replacement to Ensure a
perfect fitting.
7.
New windshield must be covered with either
protective paper or film to prevent damage during
handling or installation.
