1. TAIL FAIRING REPLACEMENT

Perform the Jacking procedure
Refer to Chapter 07
2.
Remove the stabilator
Refer to Chapter 55.
3.
Unscrew the two screws of trim tab rod
Refer to Figure 4.
4.
Unscrew the two screws of the rear side of stabilator
Refer to Figure 5.
5.
Remove the pins on both stabilator side
Refer to Figure 6.
6.
Unfasten the two side of the stabilator
Refer to Figure 5.
7.
Check the tail fairing and replace if necessary, removing the eight
crews
Refer to Figure 7.
8.
Put the stabilator, paying attention to the torque tube
Refer to figure 7.
9.
Proceed to assemble the stabilator with the same procedure used
for removing
10.
Perform final check on the tail fairing
