Make sure Master Switch is set to OFF
Screw counter-clockwise with the 3/32" hex
driver to unscrew the cam lock mechanism.
The unit will begin to pull away
from the mounting tube.
With the cam lock fully disengaged, pull the unit
straight out holding onto the sides of the bezel.
Put in position the new/overhauled unit plugging
the electrical connectors
Verify that the display face is clean.
Verify that external surfaces have
no dents, scratches, etc.
Inspect for broken or bent pins on
external connectors.
Inspect wires and cables for breaks
in insulation or tears.
Plug electrical connectors
Position the cam lock fully unscrewed (turned
counter-clockwise).
Slide the unit into the rack until jack screw
makes contact with the receptacle located in the
back plate
Turn (clockwise) and carefully hand-tighten (4
in-lb max.) the cam lock mechanism using only
the 3/32" hex driver
Using a larger tool than the one
prescribed makes it easy to exceed
the allowable torque on the cam
lock resulting in damage to the unit.
The unit will be pulled into the
frame securing the unit and the
connectors.
Do NOT overtighten.
