5. SL30 / SL40 unit removal/installation

1.
Make sure Master Switch is set to OFF
2.
Screw counter-clockwise with the 3/32" hex
driver to unscrew the cam lock mechanism.
The unit will begin to pull away
from the mounting tube.
3.
Turn the screw until slight resistance is felt and
then pull the unit from the frame.
Do not exert excessive turning
force at the end of the cam lock
travel or the unit may be
damaged.
4.
With the cam lock fully disengaged, pull the
unit straight out holding onto the sides of the
bezel.
It is not recommended that you
pull the unit out by the rotary
knobs.
5.
Unplug the connectors
6.
Put in position the new/overhauled unit
plugging the electrical connectors
Verify that the display face is
clean.
Verify that external surfaces have
no dents, scratches, etc.
Inspect for broken or bent pins on
external connectors.
Inspect wires and cables for
breaks in insulation or tears.
7.
Plug electrical connectors
8.
Position the cam lock fully unscrewed (turned
counter-clockwise).
9.
Slide the unit into the frame.
