The required application rate and spreader setup is encoded thus:
1. Encode the required application rate with the
numerical keypad under “DOSE KG/HA”.
2. The “SPECIFIC GRAVITY” is found using the
specific gravity tester supplied by BREDAL
3. Pressing “CALC. CALIB.” Calculates the correct
SCALE and GEAR.
This menu cannot be left until “CALC. CALIB.” has been pressed.
The required DOSE RATE along with the specific gravity and the distributor
width gives:
The scale setting
The correct gear on the spreader
NOTE: The settings must be re-calculated under “DOSE RATE”
each time the working width of the spreader has been
altered.
KG/LEFT:
The amount filled into the spreader must be encoded here; to be able to see how
much fertiliser is left in the hopper.
NOTE: If there is some fertiliser left in the hopper before refilling, then this
amount must be added to the amount filled thus:
Amount left in hopper + filled amount = Kg left.
HA LEFT
Encode the size of the field to be spread here. END TIME, is calculated from this
encodement.
