P. VALVE CALIBRATION
The proportional valve and the computer must be set up to work together; the
valve needs to be calibrated. This calibration procedure must be carried out the
first time the spreader is used and a few times thereafter, i.e. at the start of each
season.
Before calibration
The hydraulic oil must be at its normal operating temperature before the calibration
procedure is carried out.
Ensure that the spreader belts can run without hindrance.
IMPORTANT! The tractor hydraulic system must not supply more than
70 Litres per minute.
Calibration
1. Press “START” with an empty spreader, the
hydraulic motor runs to full speed and falls slowly
thereafter. The actual belt speed is shown as RPM
whilst the calibration procedure is carried out.
2. Press “OK” when it appears on the display, the
calibration procedure is finished.
If the belt does reach the required speed in the defined
time, a warning will be given.
