CALIBRATION
Calibration is essential for correct operation of the
system. The accuracy of all seed rates depends on
this calibration.
Pressing the “CALIB.” Key displays the screen to the
left.
WARNING: The drill shaft rotates when “PRE.
CALIB.” is pressed.
Before pressing “PRE. CALIB.” Ensure that the seed
drill is full and that the equipment used for calibration is
fitted.
The drill shaft will rotate for 10 seconds when “PRE.
CALIB.” Has been pressed to ensure that the feed
rollers are full of seed.
(Remember to empty the calibration tray/bucket
again before proceeding).
This screen is now displayed:
LOAD FIG: The previous load figure.
NO. OF
PULSES: The pulses are counted during
calibration.
NO. OF
CALIB: Shows the number of calibrations.
The drill shaft will rotate for 10 seconds when the
“CALIB.” Key is pressed.
The number of calibrations can be increased for each
press of the key. This gives the possibility of varying the
amount and therefore the weight of the released seed, so
weighing in relation to the type of scales being used is as
good as possible.
