TEEJET 5000 OPERATORS MANUAL SLURRY SPREADER, OTHER TYPE (HYDR.)
7.23
Manual calibration:
The flow figure can also be calculated manually, as follows:
1. Fill the slurry spreader to the top, so that you know the exact amount
2. Reset the amount counter in “DATA/DELETE”.
3. Empty the tank completely.
4. Read the amount in “DATA/DELETE”.
5. Place the value in the following formula:
Old flow figure x the amount spread
NEW FLOW FIGURE =
The amount read in Data/delete (TeeJet
5000)
6. Encode this new flow figure using the numerical keypad.
DISTRIBUTOR WIDTH
The working width of the spreader. The individual section width (boom
compensation) must be encoded here (left = boom section 1). If the spreader does
not have individual sections, then encode the whole spreader width as section 1
(all other sections must be encoded as 0).
DRIVE FACTOR
DRIVE FACTOR: The speed at which the regulating valve adjusts to maintain
the correct application rate.
Min. = 1 and Max. = 500.
Normal = 25.
If the spreader takes too long to find the required application rate, then the drive
factor should be increased.
If the spreader constantly changes from too much to too little, then the drive factor
should be reduced.
REG. TIME: Encode the number of seconds that the regulating system may
move in one direction.
The normal setting is 10.
RETURN
If the spreader is fitted with a return (return to tank after the flowmeter) or not.
ON = YES
OFF = NO
