METHOD E
This method is used when the seed drill is 6 metres wide and the implements used
to cultivate the crop are 21 metres wide. A fixed rhythm of 14 is used (see TRACK
NUMBER page 5.55).
Example of method E Right:
The seed drill is fitted with 2x2 magnetic valves on the right-hand side of the
machine and 2x2 magnetic valves fitted on the left-hand side of the machine.
Drilling is started on the right-hand side of the field as shown on the diagram with
a track number of 11-14.
Tramlines are made when the actual track number is; 2, 6, 9 and 13.
Note where the bouts should be counted (A) and where bouts should not be
counted (all other corners) in the first 4 bouts around the whole field.
Bout counting can be controlled by using either the “HOLD” key or by using the
“TRACK +/-“ keys.
