TEEJET 5000 OPERATORS MANUAL SEED DRILL, LEMKEN
5.57
Pressing the ”HOLD” key for 5 seconds when this
display is shown (see page 5.32) allows for
programming an application rate alarm.
%: Encode the percentile deviation that is allowed
before the warning is given (standard = 5%).
Time: Encode the number of seconds that the above
deviation is allowed before the warning is given
(standard = 20 seconds).
RPM: Encode the minimum RPM for the motor that
drives the drill shaft. The minimum RPM is used,
amongst others, to calculate the forward speed
limits given during a seed calibration (standard
value for newer machines (no gearbox) = 150
RPM, for older machines (with gearbox = 300
RPM).
WARN WHEEL DRILL
All other alarms require the wheel sensor to be
generating pulses. To avoid large bare patches, should
the wheel sensor be damaged, and therefore the
computer receives no pulses, even if the drill is lowered,
the warning WHEEL DRILL will be given after approx.
15 seconds. The warning is automatically removed
when the computer receives pulses from the wheel
sensor or when the seed drill is raised. Pressing the
“OK” key will remove the warning for approx. 15
seconds.
