CALIBRATION
Calibrating the spreader is imperative for correct operation of the automatic control
function. Great attention must, therefore, be paid to this calibration procedure.
CALIBRATION PROCEDURE
1. Fit the calibration equipment to the right-hand side
of the spreader.
2. Fill the right-hand hopper with approx. 200 kg.
fertiliser.
3. Run the PTO at 200 – 250 RPM
4. Press the “CALIB: PROCED” key and the picture
to the left is displayed.
5. Press the “START” key and the spreaders handle
opens automatically.
6. The handle will open to 4.5 for the E and EX
models, and 3.5 for the D/DZ models.
7. After 30 seconds the handle will close, and the
amount released can be weighed.
8. Encoded the amount released in “RELEASED KG”
and press the “END TEST” key, the spreader is
calibrated.
9. Remove the calibration equipment from the
spreader.
NOTE: The encoded amount released is saved
when the “END TEST” key is pressed.
This calibration procedure should be carried out for
each new batch of fertiliser and each time the fertiliser
type is changed to ensure accurate operation.
