SEED DRILL, NORDSTEN TEEJET 5000 OPERATORS MANUAL
5.22
METHOD A
The difference between
method A and B uneven
rhythm is minimal. The only
difference is when tramlines
are made. Method A makes
tramlines in the middle of the
rhythm, see the following
example.
Example of Method A
Uneven:
In this example the encoded
rhythm is 3. Two clutches or
2x2 solenoid shutters are
fitted in the middle of the drill.
Tramlines are made in bout
number 2 when a rhythm
(track number) of 3 is
encoded.
Note where, in the first 3 bouts
around the field, the present
bout should (A) be counted
and the bout should not be
counted. After each trip
around the field the machine
drives in the opposite
direction.
Bout counting can be
controlled by using either the
“HOLD” key or by using the
“TRACK +/-“ keys.
