DOSERATE:
The effective spreader width must be encoded under
“DISTRIB: WIDTH” before “DOSE RATE” is
selected.
Some spreaders are fitted with a ½ gear. It is possible
to change the calculated gear by pressing the
“GEAR+” key. A new calculation must take place
after changing the gear, if the calculated scale is
greater than 300, then GEAR+ must be changed
again.
Refer to the documentation supplied with the spreader
for further information.
The required application rate and spreader settings are encoded as follows:
1. The required application rate is encoded by moving
the cursor to “DOSE KG/HA”. Use the numerical
keypad.
2. Encode the specific gravity found using the specific
gravity tester from Bredal.
3. Pressing “CALC. CALIB” calculates the settings
for scale, gear and PTO.
When DOSERATE has been selected the screen cannot be left until
“CALIB.CALC” has been pressed.
The required application rate together with the specific gravity and the working
width gives:
Scale setting
The correct gear on the spreader
PTO revolutions
Minimum RPM for the RPM 1 alarm
WARNING: These settings must therefore be calculated again, each
time the spreader width is changed.
