SEED DRILL, LEMKEN TEEJET 5000 OPERATORS MANUAL

SELECTING THE TRACK RHYTHM
To meet the different needs of different markets, the Lemken program has four
methods (A, B, C, and D) of controlling the how the tramlines are made. The
method to be used is selected under encode.
METHOD A
Example of Method A
Even:
A rhythm of 4 is encoded
in this example. A single
clutch or 1x2 solenoid
shutters is fitted on the
left-hand side of the seed
drill.
Tramlines are made in
bout numbers 2 and 3
(split), when a rhythm of 4
is encoded.
Note where, in the first 4
bouts around the whole
field, the bouts should be
counted (A) and where
bouts should not be
counted (all other
corners). After each trip
around the field the
machine is turned around,
and is driven in the
opposite direction.
Bout counting can be
controlled by using either
the “HOLD” key or by
using the “TRACK +/-“
keys.
