CALCULATING M3/HA OR TON/HA:
Each time “EMPTY TANK” is pressed the TeeJet 5000 calculates the amount
spread with this tank-full. This makes it possible to find the correct forward
speed/PTO RPM and therefore the application rate for the last 1 – 2 loads.
An accurate calculation demands a constant forward speed and PTO speed and
correct encodements.
SLURRY SPREADER ENCODE
This menu allows the operator to encode the various settings that are necessary
for spreading. Each implement has it’s own set of encodements. Encodements
such as speed sensor (and its calibration) have their own values under each
implement.
Always check these encodements in the status screen each time you change
implements.
DOSERATE
Encode the required application rate, if automatic application control equipment is
fitted, or if a warning is required for incorrect application rate. Encode the required
rate in TON or M3 (cubic metres) per hectare. The maximum rate that can be
encoded is 99.99, Change between TON and M3 by pressing the “M3/TON” key.
STEP %:
Encode the size of the steps for the “STEP” function. This % value is the same for
both + and -. The maximum step size is 99%.
