METHOD D
This method is used with a 4 or 6 metre seed drill making 18 or 27 metre
tramlines. The track number is set to 18 (see track number page 5.55).
Example of method D Right:
The seed drill is fitted with 2x2 magnetic valves on the right-hand side of the
machine and 2x2 magnetic valves fitted on the left-hand side of the machine.
Drilling is started on the right-hand side of the field as shown on the diagram with
a track number of 1-18.
Tramlines are made when the actual track number is 3, 7, 12, and 16.
Note where the bouts should be counted (A) and where bouts should not be
counted (all other corners) in the first 4 bouts around the whole field.
Bout counting can be controlled by using either the “HOLD” key or by using the
“TRACK +/-“ keys.
