Calibrating the proportional valve is necessary to protect the proportional valve
against too much power. This calibration is normally carried out by the engineer
during fitting the equipment on the slurry spreader. The procedure is, however,
described below.
It is not recommended to carry out this calibration procedure without competent
knowledge of power measuring. The procedure is thus:
1. Connect a meter in series between TeeJet 5000
OUT1 output.

2. Pressing the ”+” and ”-” keys alters the PWM
value and the power can be measured on the
meter.
3. When the power is 100 mA. (Must not exceed 100
mA) press ”CALIB. CALC.” and the procedure is
finished.
4. The PWM value will be the highest value that can
be reached by regulation.
