POWER SUPPLY
The TeeJet 5000 system can, with additions, have a power demand of 4 Amps,
when working with control equipment (electromagnetic clutches, motors, etc.). We
recommend in such circumstances that the power supply is drawn directly from the
battery, but as the computer must switch off when the ignition is switched off,
draw the power through a relay controlled via the ignition (see diagram).
Place the relay under the instrument panel or a similarly protected position. The
fuse should be positioned by the battery to ensure protection of the whole power
cable.
