INTRODUCTION
The TeeJet 5000 used to control the amount spread using hydraulic control of a
ball valve.
- Maintain the correct application rate regardless of forward speed, plus the ability
to alter the application rate in steps depending on the crop’s requirement.
- The TeeJet 5000 controls the application rate using a proportional valve that
adjusts the amount of oil to a hydraulic cylinder, which in turn adjusts the position
of a valve.
- Visible and audible warnings given for incorrect rates, forward speed, PTO,
tons/m3 left, etc.
NOTE: The computer must be calibrated with the spreader to ensure correct
operation.
