Disassemble:
Dust seal [A],
Oil seal [B],
Rem

○If there is no compressed air, remove the piston
from the two calipers according to the following
method (the brake hose is connected with the
calipers).
○Prepare a container to hold the brake fluid.
○Re
move the brake pad spring and brake pad (see
“Disassembling Rear Brake Pad” in the “Brake”
chapter).
○Press the brake pedal and remove the calipers
piston.
Assembling Rear Calipers
Clean the calipers parts (except for the brake pad).
Note
The parts must be cleaned by using the disc brake
fluid, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol!
Install the bleed valve and rubber cover.
Locking torque of bleed valve : 7.8 N·m
●Apply the brake fluid to the inner wall of brake
cylinder.
●Replace with a new oil seal [A].
○Apply the silicone grease to the oil seal, and then
install it into the brake cylinder with hands.
●Replace with a new dust seal [B].
