If the lights do not dim
, check or replace the
following parts:
Turn signal switch (see “Checking Switch” in the
“Electrical System” chapter);

●Turn the dimmer switch [A] to the position of low
beam light.
●Start the engine.
●Low beam headlights [A] shall be on.
★If the low beam headlights is not on, check or replace
the following parts:
Headlights low beam bulb (see “Replacing Headlights
Bulb” in the “Electrical System” chapter);
20A fuse of headlights (low beam) (see “Checking
Fuse” in the “Electrical System” chapter);
15A fuse of headlights relay (see “Checking Fuse” in
the “Electrical System” chapter);
Headlights circuit relay in the relay box (see “Checking
Relay Circuit” in the “Electrical System” chapter);
Headlights relay (low beam) (see “Checking Headlights
Relay” in the “Electrical System” chapter);
Wire harness (see “Checking Circuit” in the “Electrical
System” chapter).
●Press the overtaking lamp switch [D] (models with
overtaking lamp switches) or turn the dimmer switch to
the position of high beam light.
