enable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto
Purpose Used to enable the auto configuration of a link local address when no IPv6
address is configured.
Syntax enable ipif_ipv6_link_local_auto [System]
Description This command is used to enable the auto configuration of a link local address
when there are no IPv6 addresses explicitly configured. When an IPv6
address is explicitly configured, the link local address will be automatically
configured, and the IPv6 processing will start. When there is no IPv6 address
explicitly configured, by default, a link local address is not configured and the
IPv6 processing will be disabled. By enabling this automatic configuration, the
link local address will be automatically configured and the IPv6 processing will
start.
Parameters None.
