Purpose Used to globally enable STP on the switch.
Syntax enable stp
Description This command is used to globally enable the Spanning Tree Protocol on the
switch.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
#enable stp
Command: enable stp
Success.

disable stp
Purpose Used to globally disable STP on the switch.
Syntax disable stp
Description This command is used to globally disable the Spanning Tree Protocol on the
switch.
Parameters None.
Restrictions Only Administrator-level users can issue this command.
#disable stp
Command: disable stp
Success.

config stp version
Purpose Used to globally set the version of STP on the switch.
Syntax config stp version [mstp | rstp | stp]
