Example usage:
To display the multicast MAC address table:
show multicast_fdb
Purpose Used to display the contents of the switch’s multicast forwarding database.
Syntax show multicast_fdb {vlan <vlan_name 32> | mac_address <macaddr>}
Description This command is used to display the current contents of the switch’s multicast
MAC address forwarding database.
Parameters <vlan_name 32> - The name of the VLAN on which the MAC address resides.
<macaddr> - Specifies a MAC address for which FDB entries will be
displayed.
If no parameter is specified, all multicast FDB entries will be displayed.
Restrictions None.
#show multicast_fdb vlan default
Command: show multicast_fdb vlan default
VLAN Name : default
MAC Address : 01-00-5E-00-00-00
Egress Ports : 1-5
Mode : Static

show fdb
Purpose Used to display the current unicast MAC address forwarding database.
Syntax show fdb {port <port> | [vlan <vlan_name 32> | vlanid <vidlist>] |
mac_address <macaddr> | static | aging_time}
Description This command is used to display the current contents of the switch’s
forwarding database.
Parameters port <port> - The port number corresponding to the MAC destination address.
The switch will always forward traffic to the specified device through this port.
<vlan_name 32> - The name of the VLAN on which the MAC address resides.
<vidlist> - Displays the entries for the VLANs indicated by VID list.
<macaddr> - The MAC address that is present in the forwarding database
table.
static - Displays the static MAC address entries.
aging_time - Displays the aging time for the MAC address forwarding
database.
Restrictions None.
