end if that machine uses mm-based resolutions.
If the setting is "Inch-mm conversion available ", Inch-mm conversion
become effective to the special senders.
If the setting is "Disabled", the bit switch setting is used.

(0, 1): Use this setting if echoes on the line are interfering with the set-
up protocol at the start of transmission. The machine will then wait for
the second DIS or NSF before sending DCS or NSS.
If the setting is "Disabled", the bit switch setting is used.

1: Disabled
If transmissions to a specific destination always end at a lower modem
rate (14,400 bps or lower), disable V.8 protocol so as not to use V.34
protocol.
