• Unlock the FFC [A] by lowering the white tab.
• Never touch the shield glass under the laser units when replacing them.
Adjustment after Laser Unit Replacement
Do the following settings after replacing the laser unit.
Plug in and turn ON the main power switch (SW1) of the machine.
1. Enter the SP mode.
2. Execute SP2-110-006 to upload the data for new laser unit to the MF P.
If failed, execute SP2-110-006 again. Otherwise the machine cannot print normally.
3. Exit SP mode.
4. Cycle the main power OFF/ON.
5. Enter the SP mode.
6. Execute SP3-011-001 (Manual ProCon: Exe, Normal ProCon).
Do the skew adjustment manually.

1. Remove the following parts.
• Scanner Unit with the ADF
• Operation Panel
• IM C300 series/IM C400F
• Paper Exit Tray for IM C300 series/IM C400F
