3. Use a syringe to inject grease into the ports. Push the needle against the ports rmly to direct grease
into the channels.
NOTE: The Encoder Strip must stay free of grease. Wipe o with a dry lint-free cloth if necessary.
4. Move the Carriage 10–20 mm to check the grease on the rod.
Lubricate the Carriage Rod
1. Apply a large drop of grease to a cotton swab.
