Global skew
Sets a general delay for all digital channels. The resulting skew of a digital channel is
the sum of the general "Global skew" and the individual "Skew".
Remote command:
BUS<m>:PARallel:DESoffset on page 2203
Skew
Sets an individual delay for each digital channel to time-align it with other digital chan-
nels. The skew value compensates delays that are known from the circuit specifics or
caused by the different length of cables. The skew between the probe boxes of the dig-
ital channels and the probe connectors of the analog channels is automatically aligned
by the instrument.
Remote command:
BUS<m>:PARallel:BIT<n>:DESKew on page 2203 (all buses)
DIGital<m>:DESKew on page 2199 (Bus1)
14.1.2 Parallel buses - digital probes
Access: "Analysis" menu > "Parallel buses" > "Digital Probes" tab
Logic probes provided by R&S are recognized by the instrument. The fields show the
characteristics of each recognized probe (pod) for information. "Write EEPROM" and
"Flash it" are service functions.
